On AOL Radio "Top Christain"
If you click on "Listen to top Christian" and listen for a while / skip enough song you'll eventually find it. The mix has lots of layers and it's a pretty sweet song. Good luck hunting! EDIT: Just heard it again! Woo I love it! Anyways, Estevan711 (new user!) has brought it to our attention that if you keep deleting the 'cookies' on your web browser you can achieve unlimited skips! NICE! And if you want a crude recording of the radio version just PM Edguitar, he'll hook you up. EDIT #2: According to Jeanna and Job this is a radio edit - and quite a few touches have been added that improve upon the original. The simple yet striking instramental before the "oooohs" is a complete new addition. There's a chance this version could be on the album as well, but that's purly speculation based only on the fact that this is (apperently) such a strong improvement over the original.

So I was looking for the lyrics to "Free" on google and I found this:
Switchfoot "Hello Hurricane" Song Stories "...so if you want the shiny new music detached from the labor pains, turn back now! For everyone else, here are a few of the stories behind each song." -Jon Foreman Part 1: "Needle and Haystack Life", "Mess of Me", "Your Love is A Song", and "The Sound" http://www.yourmusiczone.com/go/ymz/news_m...stories_part_i/ Part 2: "Enough to Let Me go", "Free", "Hello Hurricane", and "Always" http://www.yourmusiczone.com/go/ymz/news_m...tories_part_ii/ Part 3: "Bullet Soul", "Yet", "Sing it Out", Red Eyes http://www.yourmusiczone.com/go/ymz/news_m...ories_part_iii/ Well there you go! I haven't read any of this yet, went straight to these forums as soon as I found it. So I don't have any thoughts to share at the moment, but I'm very exited to read this!!

Take a break from that already overwhelming hype hurricane and talk some Oh! Gravity.
So, yeah, feel free to select your favorite song from above, and don't hesitate to post whatever thoughts you might have about this album. Anyways my favorite song could very well be "Faust, Midas, and Myself", but I'm going to go with "Awakening". That song makes me want to go jump over the Grand Canyon, or swim with dolphins or something. It's SUCH a great pump-up song. On a darker note, does anyone else wish the "oh"s that begin about 0:20 into Dirty Second Hands would have been left out of the mix? It's a cool idea, but I find it very distracting and their absence is one of many reasons why I prefer the live version. ...Oh, and anyone else wish Revenge was included in the main album? I bought mine album from Wal-Mart so I missed out on this great track.

Personally, this clip doesn't catch my interest quite as much as the others but thats just me. So what do you guys think about this one? EDIT: As I have been listening to the clip on and off throughout the day it has grown on me. I am very interested in how the rest of the song will progress. |
